Wilton Gumpaste and Fondant: Week Three
During week three of the gumpaste and fondant class, we learned how to make a mum and daisy. I purchased some shimmer powder to use when I make flowers, and I added some purple to the daisy. I don't like the way it turned out, but when used correctly I think it will add some nice sparkle to the flowers.
In addition, we covered a cake board with fondant, to be used in class 4 for our final cake. I went with yellow. I have decided that I wanted to make a purple and yellow cake with white flowers. Pictures to come!
